Are you looking for a way to be involved and make a difference at Bay Trail? Consider becoming a parent representative on the Bay Trail Shared Decision Making (SDM) Team . You would work with teachers, administrators and another parent representative to explore factors that impact student achievement at Bay Trail.
This is a two-year commitment. The time requirements include:
- attending two SDM meetings a month, usually held from 3 - 4:30 p.m.
- each SDM parent rep is asked to attend one PTA general meeting a year (held in the evening) to update Bay Trail parents on SDM activities and to get parent input.
- submitting occasional update to the Trailblazer or posting updates to the PTA website.
If more than one person submits a self-nomination form, a vote will be held.
You can find the self-nomination form here too.
