Hello Bay Trail Parents,  We have 200 PTA memberships so far this year and need EVERY parent to help. If you are not a member, please join the PTA and consider giving $10 for each individual membership. When you join the PTA New York State receives $4, and Bay Trail keeps $1 for a total cost of $5. All extra money you send in will go towards wonderful grants, educational events and celebrations that the Bay Trail PTA supports each year. Without your donations we are unable to offer many of our programs. If every Bay Trail parent joined the PTA with the extra $5 donation we would be able to skip fundraising all together and get to the fun activities! As an alternative to asking every household to join the PTA with a contribution of $10 per person, we are also rolling out two options for our Fall Fundraiser. So…here goes… The first option is to make a donation in any amount directly to “Bay Trail PTA”. This website and Enews would not exist without the PTA. Consider what your son/daughter enjoys each year. We offer many fun activities: examples include our 8th grade class MUD celebration (Moving Up Day) and don’t forget all students have dances scheduled soon. I know the kids love these activities and every dollar helps to pay for these and other fun events!!! Make checks payable to Bay Trail PTA and send to 1760 Scribner Rd., Penfield, NY 14526.
If that option does not appeal to your family we are also rolling out our Scrip Gift Card Fundraiser with over 1000 retailers to choose from; great for holiday shopping and gift giving! The best news is you don’t have to sell door to door - you can simply use them to do your shopping.  The PTA will review orders as they are received – We have two order deadlines: November 14th and December 7th
This will allow time to distribute cards before the holidays. There will be pick up times available at Bay Trail, the week of November 28th and December 14th (pick up schedule details coming soon).Please help our PTA have a successful fundraising season – you can reach out to me anytime you have questions, suggestions and concerns.
