8th Grade Moving Up Day – we are looking for a volunteer to lead the coordination of the 8th Grade Moving Up Day!
Responsibilities include:
- Contacting vendors and working within a budget.
- Coordinate volunteers to chaperone and serve concessions at event.
Spring Spiritwear Fundraiser Sale – If you didn’t have a chance to purchase Bay Trail or Penfield Spiritwear in the fall, we are looking to host another sale – and we are in need of a volunteer to lead it! The volunteer will be in contact with the vendor to coordinate website set-up and stay in communication with the PTA regarding orders and timelines.
Bay Trail Scholarship Chair – Each year, the Bay Trail PTA awards two scholarships to Bay Trail alumni who are graduating from Penfield High School. Volunteers will form a small review committee and select their top two student essays from all received submissions. Committee members can also attend the awards ceremony in June to present the $500 scholarships to the winners.
Mother’s Day Plant Fundraiser – Do you have any connections to a local nursery and have a green thumb? Help us organize a Mother’s Day Plant Fundraiser to benefit the PTA! We are looking for a volunteer to connect with a local nursery and seek opportunities to partner on a fundraiser in April with an eye toward plant distribution in time for Mother’s Day.
